Role Overview

Join the Amazon Music Search team to lead and innovate ML-driven search experiences used by millions globally. You'll drive key product initiatives such as search history, autocomplete, and contextual find-as-you-type, improving customer discovery across platforms including Alexa and Amazon Music apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the search features roadmap (e.g., search history, autocomplete)
• Collaborate with engineers to define requirements, prioritize, and drive execution
• Use A/B testing and behavioral analytics to enhance search performance and relevance
• Partner with UX for intuitive and satisfying search user experiences
• Track and report KPIs on user engagement, retention, and search quality
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams: catalog, recommendations, GenAI
• Stay updated on music search trends, propose innovations to stay competitive

About the Team

The Amazon Music Search team’s mission is to provide the most relevant search results fast, across all user contexts—whether in-app or voice-based. Handling billions of queries per month, this team plays a key role in retention and engagement for Amazon Music users globally.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience owning/driving product roadmaps and feature strategies
• Background in technical product management, online services, or search features
• Experience participating in engineering discussions and decision-making
• Ability to represent diverse stakeholders during exec-level planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, QuickSight, Qlikview
• Experience building consumer-facing digital products
